Risør Shipping AS
Thomas W. N. Christensen and Martin S. Hauge founded Risør Shipping in 2023, bringing their experience in finance and investment to general cargo shipping. Today, the company owns M/V Helene Julie and M/V Rebecca.
Based in Oslo, we take our name from Risør, where both founders have close ties. The town’s boatbuilding and seafaring traditions are part of our identity.
Risør Management AS
Operating since 2006 under a previous name, Risør Management manages our own vessels and provides services to external shipowners.
Our teams handle technical management, crewing, accounting, budgeting, inspections, docking and newbuilding supervision from Bergen and Schoonhoven, with crewing support in Riga.
